And if you like loud, high pitched beeps, maybe this is for you. Every time you push one of the buttons it beeps at you. I can deal with that because I am not setting the time or alarm frequently. But every time you hit the snooze button, it emits one high pitched beep. So if I want to see what time it is in the middle of the night (because it isn't backlit unless I hit the snooze and then it stays on for 5 seconds), I get a nice loud beep to wake up others. Very disappointed in that and it is going back because of it. That's a big bummer for a little kid. It's solidly constructed, the numbers easy to read in daytime. Easy to set and use. He just had a Lego themed birthday party and there is a Lego store in our local mall that I discovered that we must make a monthly trip to. This clock would be 5 star worthy if there were different alarm sounds.. (it is so loud, and yes there is a lower volume setting.) And if there was a light that stayed on or the numbers were illuminated. |
